Rewrite the Narrative
Rewrite the Narrative is a brand established by Rénou Kiefer as her vehicle to explore the ways in which narrative development can bring about change for individuals, organisations, and society. Rewrite the Narrative also celebrates individuals and initiatives actively ‘rewriting the narrative’ and bringing about positive change in the world around them.
Renou Kiefer studied History of Art, Design and Film with Visual and Material Culture at Kingston University and at Birkbeck College, University of London before formally training as an adult education and training professional at UCL Institute of Education (PGCE PC.) She is currently training as a Psychologist with an interest in Narrative Therapy.
As a single parent herself, Renou advocates for single parents – particularly those who are self-employed and/or entrepreneurial – and does so at policy level.
Renou is also passionate about supporting the Armed Forces Community and has a big soft spot for the British Army’s Foot Guard Regiments. She offers advisory support to service charities in the UK.
On the flipside, as a second generation member of a Cambodian family that survived the Khmer Rouge regime, Renou actively supports initiatives that facilitate peacemaking and healing in war-torn and broken communities overseas.
Born and raised south of the river in London, Renou currently lives in Guildford with her 5 year old son. She enjoys trail running, frequenting Surrey’s independent coffee shops, and adventures in Scotland.
